Sibling Rivalry was formed as an impromptu
quartet for the 1997 Lincoln Continentals show in Lincoln, Nebraska.
Sibling Rivalry soon developed into an entertaining and exciting
Barbershop Quartet with the Bell and Burkland brothers (hence the
name). Centered on music excellence, the foursome quickly rose through
the ranks of the Central States District, earning the title of
Champions in 1999. Jamey Nygren, Pathfinder member and former
President of the Chapter joined them, replacing Kevin Burkland, the
group's Tenor. In the Spring of 2000, the quartet qualified for
International Contest and in July, finished 29th in the World.
Members are Jamey Nygren - Tenor, Eric (The Lung) Bell - Lead, Ed Bell
- Baritone and Aaron (Watch That Step) Burkland - Bass.
