Choosing a name that pays homage to the Midwest's tradition of elite competition and our local chapters new tradition of stellar competition, Major League is a quartet that never backs down from a performance. The quartet competed in the Fall of 2004 as the group "High Point" with just a few weeks of practice. They disbanded the next spring as their tenor had other family responsibilities that took him into retirement. The trio worked with about a hundred different tenors (well, it seemed like it anyway!) with success, but in the end, each tenor went their own way.

Now, Randy Sanders returns with renewed interest in ringing chords and a rejuvinated foursome that is majorly excited! The quartet is compromised of Randy Sanders (Tenor), Jeff Klemme (Lead), Phil Fitzpatrick (Bass), and Brent "Farley" Reuther (Baritone).

Jeff Klemme is a database administrator for House of Brick and all-around great LEAD! He's been singing the part since he started in 2002 and has been in about 100 quartets with Phil and Brent. We think actually that it's his fault Tenors keep moving on....he's just such a prima donna! Ok...he's not, but we want him to stay grounded! He is married to Lisa and has three kids, Olivia, Hanna, and Sam.

Phil Fitzpatrick is the BASS for Major League and an Associate Professor of Information Technology at Bellevue University in Bellevue, NE. He sings the low part, and constantly gets grief as he can't sing the high part. (Well, really who wants to sing high anyway?...no one…that's who!) This is his 101st quartet so he wants this one to keep going! He is married to Laurie and has two sons, Brenden and Matthew.

Brent "Farley" Reuther is an Estimator at Faust Construction and sings the hardest part, BARITONE. He lives in Hooper, NE and when he isn't singing, feverishly learning his part, he's a volunteer firedude for the Hooper Fire Department. He's working on his coursework to make himself a full time fireman someday, but for now, he's ours to sing with. He isn't married yet...but that's probably because he sings Baritone.

Randy Sanders is a Manager at Christiansen Lumber and sings TENOR in Major League. He has many years of experience and is a former member of Phase II, the 2000 CSD quartet champions. We give him a bunch of credit since he sings the high part…and no one else wants to! He is married to Jodi and has two children, Chris and Amanda.
