The GroundHogsmen

Contact information soon.
The name comes from many hours of debate, sweat, tears, and... ok, it really comes from some extra drinks at an afterglow. This proves that experience and raw talent can help gather four guys together and produce a good sound, but has no bearing in what they name themselves. Actually, our name kinda makes sense when you see the Groundhog as the unsung hero of the rodent world. They are mostly discounted as burrowing members of the Marmot family. Like the Groundhog, our quartet is known for swimming and climbing, hibernating in the winter, eating grubs, and generally moving large amounts of dirt.
As of this February 2nd, we went outside from our quartet practice, and standing under the street light, we looked down and saw our shadows. After calming down Brent and reassuring him that the dark was not, in fact, melting, we decided to continue singing for at least six more weeks.
Our first coach told us... "Well, there are four of you!" We took that advice and have blossomed into the fat, hairy rodents we are. The GroundHogsmen quartet is compromised of Andy Pinkall (Tenor), Jeff Klemme (Lead), Phil Fitzpatrick (Bass), and Brent "Farley" Ruether (Baritone). We hope you enjoy our sound!
